Short profile
Daniel Pfändler is a Swiss national and a graduate of the University of St. Gallen. He began at the trading desk for German government bonds as a desk analyst in the mid-1990s, later heading interest rate strategy and subsequently the analysis of the G10 economies, commodity strategy and asset allocation at Dresdner Kleinwort until 2009.
That work built a deep working knowledge of economies, markets and trading environments. In 2009 he founded Research Ahead GmbH and has since advised funds, banks and insurers on macroeconomic developments and financial market strategy.
